Avon Hill Lodge and Bruce's Barn is a private wedding and vacation estate on 100 tree-lined acres along the Rockfish River in central Virginia, with sweeping Blue Ridge Mountain views, over five acres of English and American boxwoods, and a pool. Bruce's Barn, added in 2019, is a two-story climate-controlled and ADA-accessible event space with a 2,300 sq ft main floor that seats 150 for dinner, 600 sq ft of second-floor lofts overlooking the main floor, an 1,100 sq ft wrap-around deck, two giant round chandeliers, three sets of glass double doors, and a covered entrance. On-site lodging accommodates up to 43 guests across the Lodge and tenant house, allowing couples to host the full weekend (rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and Sunday brunch). Avon Hill books only one wedding or event per weekend for privacy. Coordinator Jocelyn handles venue management. Smoking, vaping, and firearms are prohibited on the property.
