Crooked River is an upscale 200+ acre secluded estate in Hiltons, Virginia, located 25-40 minutes from Bristol, Kingsport, Abingdon and Johnson City. The heart of the property is The Lodge, a circa-1823 Ohio Grist Mill re-erected in Mendota and restored with 200-year-old hand-hewn beams, 37-foot ceilings, romantic lighting, massive double doors, a double-sided stone fireplace, French casement windows and a southern-select flagstone patio. A renovated 1899 tobacco barn houses the bridal suite, groom suite and a luxury honeymoon suite, plus ensuite ready rooms with bathrooms and showers. Ceremonies are held at the Seventh Shoal beside the North Fork of the Holston River or in The Grove among tall white oaks, with several other on-site options. The Lodge seats up to 200-230 guests and is heated and air-conditioned year-round. The venue offers One-Day, Two-Day and All-Inclusive packages (including parking and guest shuttle), with outside caterers permitted; pets are not allowed.
