The Pavilion At Black Water Junction is a family-owned rustic wedding venue set on a 75-acre horse and cattle farm in Union Hall, Virginia, near Smith Mountain Lake with breathtaking views of Jack's Mountain and the Blue Ridge. The pavilion was custom-built incorporating natural materials like old doors, windows, copper sinks, foundation rocks, burled maple, cedar, barn, and poplar boards, with open rafters strung with white lights and a large rock fireplace. The space seats up to 200 under-roof and includes stamped-concrete floors flowing onto a large dance floor, three rustic bathrooms, a gorgeous bar and pergola, a vine-covered arbor over the pastures and pond, lighted ceiling, and twinkle lights through the trees. Weekend rentals provide 8 AM Thursday through 8 AM Sunday access, with the rental including tables and chairs for 200 guests, 5 cocktail tables, food/cake/sign-in/sweetheart tables, getting-ready spaces (wedding studio and shack), 200 lbs of ice, horse-trough beverage cooler, mason jars, drink dispensers, wooden barrels, candle columns, lighted olive trees, and parking for 100 cars.
