Riverside Vines is a luxury lakefront vineyard and wedding venue on 170 acres of private farm overlooking Lake Chesdin in Sutherland, Virginia, about 40 minutes south of Richmond, with a Summer 2023 grand opening. The property pairs award-winning estate-grown wines with four event spaces, The Harbor waterfront ceremony site at the tip of the peninsula (paved aisle with in-ground lighting and wooden arbor), the Vintner's Lounge tasting room and patio (chic-rustic, copper-paneled ceiling, marble-faced cement bar, seats up to 80), the Marquee permanent clear-roof tent for receptions, and the newly renovated 5-bed/5.5-bath Château Thibault built in the 1860s. Wedding capacity is up to 250 guests (300+ on request). The $9,200 venue rental covers 12-hour use of the three event spaces; Château Thibault is an add-on at $500/night. In-house catering and bar packages are mandatory (preferred outside caterers allowed from the list), and amenities include farmhouse tables, dining/ceremony seating, ivory linens, glassware, parking for 75, and 20 acres of vines for photography.
