The Barns at Timberneck is a family-owned, all-inclusive historic barn wedding venue on a working farm in Surry, Virginia, between Smithfield and Williamsburg, owned and hosted by John and Anne Seward. The property features three large historic barns -- two dating to the early 1800s plus a 1940s event barn -- a restored mid-1800s farmhouse, vintage artifacts, Edison string lighting and uplit barns and farmhouse. The 2,100 sq ft historic open barn pairs with a 1,500 sq ft covered pavilion with clear enclosable tent sides and cabana curtains; the full event barn seats up to 160 indoors and 200 outdoors. Only twelve weddings are hosted per year in spring and fall, with weekend access from Friday noon through Sunday noon. The comprehensive package includes day-of coordination, decor, tables, chairs, linens, dish/silverware, set-up and clean-up; couples bring their own catering, DJ and photographer.
