Harbor Creek Farms & Venue is a beautifully renovated barn-style wedding venue on over 100 acres of pasture and rolling Virginia hillsides in Salem, just 2 miles from the interstate, 5 minutes from downtown Salem and 15 minutes from Roanoke. The climate-controlled main venue (with black-and-white barn doors and a glass garage door that opens onto a covered patio with stamped concrete, string lights and a firepit) seats up to 160 guests on Crossback chairs at farmhouse and 60-inch round tables. The property also includes on-site Bridal and Groom Suites, a warming kitchen for caterers, a hillside ceremony view, and a dock overlooking a private pond. The Weekend Package is $7,000 with 12-hour Saturday access plus a 3-hour Friday rehearsal, and inclusions are tables, chairs, white linens, outdoor firepit, patio heaters and ceiling fans, greenery wall, cake table, movable bar, golf-cart shuttle from parking, fully stocked restrooms and use of an arbor and select decor. The venue is wheelchair-accessible, pet-friendly with prior approval, requires a day-of coordinator and 1 million in event insurance, mandates a licensed insured bartender (no shots), and has the host obtain a 40 dollar Virginia ABC banquet license. Only one wedding per weekend is hosted.
