Amber Grove is a secluded country estate wedding venue on 15 acres of rolling farmland in Moseley, Virginia, operating as a wedding/event venue since 1997 under owner John McBride. The property centers on a white-columned 1884 colonial-style manor house with a 2,400 sq ft front addition (1997), a 1920s-era dairy barn, a 200-year-old oak tree, an elegant gazebo, lush gardens, a pond and a fire pit. Ceremonies are held at the oak, gazebo, top-of-the-barn climate-controlled space or in the gardens, with receptions in a 40' x 80' climate-controlled tent connected to the main house by a covered walkway, featuring retractable cathedral window sides, an 18'x20' dance floor and a DJ stage. Capacity ranges from 150–160 standard to 220–225 maximum, and full wedding packages start at $14,000 off-peak and $20,000 peak. The venue offers exclusive use on the wedding day, dedicated event coordination by John, a two-room bridal suite, free parking and ADA accessibility, and maintains a curated preferred-vendor list of florists, DJs, photographers, ministers, bakers, harpists and transportation.
