The Venue at Orchard View Farm is a family-owned barn and farm wedding venue on a 102-acre working farm in Cumberland, Virginia, about an hour west of Richmond; the farm has been in the family for three generations and the event venue opened in 2018. The 2,560 sq ft custom-built event barn is 64' x 40' with 12-foot tongue-and-groove ceilings, three chandeliers and large windows overlooking the pond and apple orchard, seating up to 135 guests with central heat and AC. An outdoor ceremony site features a white pergola overlooking the pond and orchard, and the property also offers a covered patio, fire pit, custom-built playground and a small pond beach. Peak-season Saturday weddings cost $6,800 ($5,800 off-peak) and include Friday and Saturday venue use; Sundays are $5,500; rental packages include event planning by Jackie Cahill, a day-of coordinator (Bre Allen), in-house DJ Kevin Ingle, table layout, plate settings for 135 (silver charger, white plate, linen napkin, silverware), farmhouse tables, white-wash resin chairs, bridal and groom rooms each with private bathroom, prep kitchen and onsite parking. Outside vendors are allowed (caterers must meet with the venue), it is pet-friendly, ADA accessible, and offers WiFi.
