Events at Rillhurst Farm is a family-owned, 500-acre working cattle farm in Boston, Virginia, that began hosting weddings in spring 2020 and has been in the Alphin family for 11 generations. The property pairs a historic 1750 five-bedroom farmhouse (sleeps 12) with an antique hay-loft event barn, lakeside and garden ceremony sites and a back deck under a pecan tree for cocktail hours. Small, medium and large packages accommodate up to 75, 135 and 200 guests respectively (200 requires tenting) and come in 24, 48 and 72-hour multi-day stays so couples can host rehearsal, ceremony, reception and brunch on one property. Outside vendors are welcomed with a 60-day COI; owner Ian Alphin is consistently praised in reviews for hands-on, easygoing service.
