Worsell Manor is a historic 50-acre estate in Warwick, Maryland, on Cecil County's Eastern Shore, established in 1683 with a manor house built c.1760-1780 in mid-Georgian vernacular style and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023. The property is within 1.5 hours of Philadelphia, Wilmington, Baltimore, Annapolis and Washington, D.C., and just 10 minutes from Middletown, Delaware. The climate-controlled historic barn, with high ceilings and exposed beams, holds up to 225 seated or 250 standing guests, while the Wooded Glen accommodates up to 200 for outdoor ceremonies and the Fountain Garden provides additional outdoor ceremony and portrait space. The restored Manor House features an expansive foyer, brick-floored sun porch, state-of-the-art kitchen, bar room and six upstairs suites for getting ready and overnight stays. Wedding packages start around $8,000-$8,900 and include tables and chairs, the Manor House with prep and overnight rooms, the climate-controlled barn and 50 acres for ceremonies; Saturday bookings get the previous and following day for setup/pickup, Sunday bookings get a Thursday rehearsal. Couples select caterers from a preferred list; bar service is in-house; the venue is pet-friendly with ADA accessibility and a complimentary parking lot.
