The Cloisters Castle is a historic stone castle in Lutherville/Timonium, Maryland, originally designed by Sumner and Dudrea Parker to showcase their extensive collection of medieval artwork and artifacts, and now owned by the Baltimore Office of Promotion & The Arts. Three floors and beautiful gardens feature Gothic and medieval elements, stained glass, fireplaces, a courtyard, an amphitheater and a cloistered garden, making it a sought-after backdrop for fantasy/Renaissance-themed weddings, receptions and special events. Ceremonies can be held in the gallery (up to ~100), the courtyard (up to 150) or the amphitheater (up to 150). Rentals include 200 white wooden chairs and assorted tables at no extra cost, and the venue requires couples to choose from its approved caterer list, with the caterer handling set-up, alcohol service and clean-up.
