Historic Sotterley is a 300-year-old, 94-acre National Historic Landmark plantation on the Patuxent River in Hollywood, Maryland, with 22 preserved structures and designation as a UNESCO Site of Memory. The site offers multiple wedding ceremony and reception spaces including the Garden Room, Pecan Room, Croquet Lawn and Terrace, the rustic Barn with vaulted ceilings, the Warehouse with exposed beams and brick walls, the Tractor Shed and a new custom brick patio plaza, and the Riverside Pavilion next to the Brink Cottage. Capacity scales from 50-seat intimate ceremonies to events of up to 350 guests, and the Spinning Cottage serves as the bridal-party preparation space next to the plantation house. A new Visitor Experience Center opened in 2026 for orientation, with free parking and accessible walkways across the property.
