Cheverly American Legion Post 108 is a historic veteran-organization event venue in Cheverly, Maryland, first chartered in 1933 and completed in 1941 by post members using reclaimed materials from Rock Creek Park, the East Wing of the White House, a Washington D.C. bridge, the McLean Mansion and old doors from the U.S. Supreme Court. The rentable Ross-Tayman Hall, located at the rear of the property with a separate parking lot, accommodates up to 240 guests for banquet functions including weddings, parties and walk-through affairs such as job fairs and health clinics, and features a full bar, stage and restroom facilities. The on-site Dugout bar hosts community events, the 108 Music Series with Grammy-nominated acts, karaoke and DJ nights. Hall tours and rental agreements are by appointment only.
