Lower Notley Hall Farm is an award-winning, family-owned waterfront wedding venue in Chaptico, Maryland (about 50 miles south of Washington, D.C.), set on the Wicomico River with wide-open skies, green fields and majestic Osage Orange trees. Operated by Jack and Cindy Pratt since around 2016, the property pairs an 18th-century Victorian manor house (open to the wedding party only, with grand staircase, original heirlooms, bridal Locke Rooms with claw-foot tub and groom's Double Parlors) with an Amish-built board-and-batten Reception Barn featuring sliding barn doors, chandeliers and twinkling Edison lights. Base rental is around $8,000 and includes restrooms, tables, chairs, benches, firepit, wine barrels, some linens, portable bar, cake/buffet tables, mason jars, shepherd hooks, and a choice of two wedding arches; capacity tops out at 150 (130 recommended) with 60 parking spaces. Vendors must be from the approved list or written-approved; discounts for veterans, first responders, teachers and nurses.
