Annod Events is a full-service event-planning company and venue in Accokeek, Maryland, owned and operated by Donna Thompson and serving the DMV (Maryland, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia) for over 10 years. The company markets itself as a 'one-stop event shop' offering venue rental, décor, event rentals, planning and on-site coordination for weddings, micro-weddings, receptions, bridal and baby showers, corporate events, milestone birthdays, funerals and celebrations of life. Venue options include a large event space for up to 300 guests, an intimate event space for 75–100 guests, the small House of Amor (8–10 guests) and an outdoor rental space. Base intimate rental includes tables (rectangle or rounds), gold Chiavari chairs, a Bluetooth speaker, complimentary Wi-Fi, standard lighting, floorplans and setup/cleanup in a six-hour window (1 hr setup, 4 hr event, 1 hr breakdown). Add-on services cover premium uplighting, florals, pipe & draping, live entertainment, dedicated AV tech team, luxury linens, valet parking, security staff and custom print/photo-booth experiences. A 50% deposit secures the date with balance due 60 days prior. The venue is wheelchair-accessible across parking, entrance, restroom and seating.
